Lacye Stewart, Risk Manager for the City of Arlington, began her career as a claims adjuster, gaining approximately seven years of experience before transitioning into risk management and safety administration in 2016. Her claims background provided a strong foundation for evaluating risk, addressing complex situations, and developing practical solutions.

What Lacye enjoys most about risk management is that no two days are exactly alike. Because risk management issues are often circumstantial, each day presents a new challenge and an opportunity to find a creative solution. She believes that every day has the potential to bring about a new challenge to conquer.

Texas PRIMA has played an important role in her professional development. Through the organization’s resources, educational sessions, and networking opportunities, Lacye has continued to expand her knowledge and evolve in her career. She is currently pursuing the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
