This 30 minute interactive webinar will provide a general overview on the main sources of federal funding for costs associated with COVID-19 response and recovery efforts for local government entities. This webinar will explore the Top #5 Good Practices to implement when using FEMA Public Assistance, The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), and HUD’s CDBG funding.

 

Chrissie Angeletti, J.D.

Chrissie is a program manager, and subject matter expert in the field of Disaster Management and Environmental Compliance. Her expertise include FEMA Public Assistance, including 406 Hazard Mitigation, and 428 under the Sandy Recovery Improvement Act and  Hazard Mitigation Assistance grant programs for over 30 major disasters and $3B in grant funding. Recently, she has lead FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation Technical Assistance (HMTAP) contract for Hurricane Harvey; managing contracts with local communities for multi-programmatic financial recovery including Public Assistance; hazard mitigation planning, grant development, and BCA support; and CDBG-MIT. She is currently providing subject matter expertise on contracts throughout the nation, including COVID-19 financial recovery.
