This session provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of FEMA’s guidelines and documentation requirements following an emergency response. Attendees will learn what to expect during the submission and review process for Public Assistance Funding requests. The course will cover best practices for documentation, key timelines, and common challenges agencies may face when working with FEMA post-disaster.

Speakers:
Danielle Beck is the Risk & Compliance Administrator for Trinity River Authority. She began her Risk Management career nearly 2 years ago and is currently pursuing my ARM certification. Prior to joining Trinity River Authority, she worked in Human Resources for 5 years as an HR Assistant. 

Evette Fannin-Butler is the Grant Writer for Trinity River Authority. She began her Grant Management career 3 years ago. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. Prior to joining Trinity River Authority, she worked for the City of Navasota as their Grants Coordinator.
